Christmas 2007 & Madeline's 3rd Birthday.

Another crazy Christmas! We spent the weekend before Christmas with the Troiano's in Housatonic. Madeline had her first birthday party. Then we had my family all stay here, it was a little crowded, but a lot of fun to all be here. Christmas Eve we had Madeline's second birthday party, I guess she will not feel gypped having her birthday on Christmas Eve. Christmas day was lots of fun, Madeline, Christine & Nick spent lots of time jumping in the bouncy house.

2nd Annual Halloween Party

We were able to have our Halloween Party again this year. Although the backyard was cut down a lot, we still had a pretty good spooky trail. The kids seemed to have fun. We look forward to the party every year. We'll just have to make the trail scarier as the kids get older, as Madison and Molly told us it was lame (those old kids are tougher to scare).

Summer 2007

Here is a synopsis of the summer. We welcomed J.P. (James Paul Jr.) into our family on June 5, 2007. Madeline is so excited to have a baby in the house. She had a little adjusting, but overall is very excited to play with and hold JP. Nana arrived on the day JP was born, she came right to the hospital from the airport, Jen, Nick, Christine & Stephen with her. Grandma and Grandpa were there with Maddie, they had come to our house to watch her while Jamie and I were in the hospital.

Nana stayed with us for 6 weeks, it was great to have a extra set of hands around with the new baby. Plus the weather was great so we were able to enjoy going to the beach a lot. Christine also visited a lot since she wasn't working too much in July. Also Tracy's friend Karen came to visit and go to the beach a lot with her little girl Tara, she and Maddie had a lot of fun at the beach. JP seemed to love the beach most times he would just sleep, but as the summer went on, he spent more time awake, but always seemed to enjoy being outside.

In July we had JP christened and had a party at our house. It was about 90 degrees but luckily we bought a waterslide for the kids and they all had a great time.

We also spent some weekends with other friends like the Zito's, Alana and Ty are the perfect playmates for Maddie and JP. We had fun at the pond we discovered in Exter, at the Pawsox and at the Zoo. There was a big group of us at the Pawsox game in late August, it was a great day, we should have done that more over the summer, we will next year.

In September right after labor day I went back to work. It is a lot tougher getting 2 kids ready in the morning, but some days work is easier than being at home with 2 kids, ha-ha.

JP's first day at Daycare

We sent JP a couple of days before I had to head back to work. I was able to get used to him going and get a couple of things done before getting back to work full time, like go to the dentist. Here is the big guy with Maddie ready to show him the ropes at Ms. Jan's.
