Maddie was so cute writing a shopping list while Jamie and I were writing our Home Depot list to go get kitchen stuff. She is definitely my little helper!

JP - future Navy Seal

JP hasn't figured out how to crawl yet but he can pull himself across the floor like a Navy Seal. If he could lift his big belly off the floor he could really get moving.

Everything but the kitchen sink

Another weekend of kitchen remodeling, now all that is left is the kitchen sink, that should be gone by tomorrow. I have picked out the paint tile and the cabinets have arrived. Hopefully only a couple more weekends and it will be done. We have a painter coming this week and hopefully we'll have a guy to put in the tile by tomorrow as well.

JP - changing overnight

Today Jan and Amanda thought JP had changed overnight, he is growing so much. He is getting to be so big!

Jp's 3rd tooth

When I was getting JP ready this morning I saw the top right tooth popping through. I am sure he won't let me get a picture of it but I will try. Still not crawling, but oh so close.

Kitchen Nightmare

No more pantry

The wall is cut back

Well we have begun the renovation of the kitchen, more like destruction at this point. Grandpa & Grandma came out this weekend to help. Jamie and his Dad were able to get a lot done, but everything takes way longer than you think. I just can't wait until the new kitchen is in. The cabinets arrive tomorrow and the original plan was to have them installed this weekend, but there are a lot more things to be done first. I get to pick out everything which is fun and very difficult all at the same time. Although I think I found a floor that matches the counter top and it is even on sale. Now we just have to get the old one up and have the new one put in. I am taking pictures as we go so everyone can see the progress.

Madeline

Maddie just finished her first session of Gymnastics and is now in the big girls class all by herself, which she would announce to anyone that would listen (she is certainly not the shy one). Then when it came time for the first new class this weekend (auntie Jen took her, since mommy & daddy were away for the night, thanks again Jen) of course she didn't want to go by herself, but she eventually joined the class. I am sure she will be running into the class herself in no time. She is trying to teach JP to say her name now that he says mama she thinks he can say Madeline too, or Madowin as she says to him, it is quite funny. Madeline had a great weekend with her 2 aunts and her cousin Nick over. She loves auntie Christine, she wants to do everything with her. Christine has to get her in and out of the car, take her to the bathroom, be with her at all times. The best was when Nick reminded Madeline that Chrisitne isn't always around and she replied "don't you say that".

JP 8 months

I can't belive how fast time is going by, it took Jamie reminding me this weekend that JP is already 8 months, yes Feb 5th already passed, duh. During this last month JP just got his first 2 bottom teeth, I thought they were coming in since he was 2 months old. He also started saying MAMA (yes before DADA, he loves me more, just kidding). He is so big, he is almost growing out of the 6-9 month clothes, although he is only on the 50% according to his 6 month check up.
