Easter 2008

We spent Easter at the Troiano's. Here are some great pictures from the weekend and the big Easter Egg Hunt.

First coloring Easter Eggs

Finding the Easter Basket. It is a tradition that the Easter Bunny hides baskets at Jamie's house, so here are the pictures of Maddie in search and finding her basket. She also found JP's for him. He liked his new book. Maddie got lots of goodies, Finding Nemo, a Care Bear Movie, a princess jump rope, M&M's and other stuff.

Easter Best, here are the kids in their outfits. Maddie kept spinning in her dress, she loves to be a princess!!!

More Egg Hunt pictures & the goodies collected!
Egg Hunt!! Here are the pictures and video. The kids had fun although it was a bit cold for Easter. As you can see it is not too tough to find the eggs so they get lots of candy and goodies.

JP's new friend. JP was fascinated with Margret's dog. Maddie on the other had freaked out anytime she even thought she was going to be near her. Here is JP crawling over to say hi to Lilly.

A day of firsts

Today JP accomplished a lot of firsts!! This morning he said Da and even pointed at Jamie when he said it. Then when I picked him up at Daycare he actually crawled on his hands and knees a couple of "steps" then got down on his belly and scooted across the floor much faster than the crawling. Then at dinner he tried Cheerios for the first time, he seemed to like them, Maddie was helping shove them in his mouth, he didn't like that so much. I found more under his butt when I pulled him out of his highchair than he got in his mouth but it kept him entertained and he's learning how to eat.

JP 9 Month check up

We went to the doctor yesterday for JP's 9 month check up and he is doing great. He was 21# 3 oz and 28 inches, still on the 50%, but he seems bigger. He now has 6 teeth, the top 2 side ones are popping through.

Happy St. Patricks Day

Here are a few pictures of the kids in their festive St. Patrick's Day outfits. After Madeline didn't want to get dressed and said she didn't want to be Irish, although when Jamie said that's because you like to be Italian, she said "I don't want to be Italian, I don't want to be anything". She doesn't quite understand yet, although you can see once she was a little more awake she was happy to pose and smile in her pretty green sweater, as she kept saying "take another picture". Hope you all enjoy some corned beef and cabbage and a Guinness.

Grandma is bringing down Grandpa and Andy to help this weekend the cabinets and appliances should be all in by the end of this weekend and then we just need to wait for the coutertop to be installed. YEAH I almost have a kitchen back!

Madeline Reading

Here is a cute video or 2 of Madeline reading How the Grinch Stole Christmas. As you can see she likes this story a lot since she knows most of the words. Please forgive the shaky camera JP was grabbing at it.

JP is 9 months old

Well JP is 9 months old today! This month he has gotten a lot more mobile, he isn't crawling quite yet, but he can scoot across the floor just as fast. He also just started waving about a week ago (check out the video) and now he has 4 teeth. The top 2 are still making their way in but they have broken through. And he still only says Mama, which is fine by me, but pooor Jamie is just dying for him to say Dada and of course Maddie wants him to say Madeline, but I think she may have to wait a bit. Check out a few pics from dinner, tub time (cool hair) and a cute video waving to everyone.

Kitchen Progress

Well the walls have been painted and I love it. Today we are putting down the sub floor for the tile to go on. Even Maddie is helping, she loves to help her Daddy.

Tubbie Time

JP finally is able to sit up in the tub and he is loving it. He used to hate taking his tub, but over the last couple of months he likes it better and now that he can sit up it is so much fun. He especially enjoys when Maddie joins in the fun.
