Vacation week with Nana

Nana came to RI to visit the kids for school vacation and help babysit since I couldn't take off the whole week. She went home a lot more exhausted than when she arrived. Chrsitine also came to visit and we went up to Boston a couple of times. The kids went to the Zoo, Museum of Science, Swan Boats, it was a very busy week.

More food....

JP wants to eat everything, and he gets really mad if you are eating and he is not. As you can see he is very happy when he is eating. Here are some more food firsts, eggs, pasta and the mess that go along with it.

The Kitchen is Done!!!!

I have been meaning to post the pictures of the finished kitchen, but I have been busy. We had the counter top installed on April 9th, and Grandpa came to help install the sink and garbage disposal. By Friday the 11th I had a working sink again, it is so great!!!! I have even put up the curtains, it is finally coming together. It is so great to be able to have a functioning kitchen and we have more counter space than we did before it looks great, we love it.

Some more firsts...

JP started clapping his hands last week and eating more foods, like Cheerios and pasta. He had his first North End pasta on Saturday 4/12 when we went to pick Nana up at the airport and all had dinner at Cantina Italiana. All we had to do was give him some bread and a couple pieces of Penne and he was a happy camper.

JP 10 months old

JP is another month older and closer to 1 year, it has flown by. He is starting to pull himself up. I think he will be walking by his 1st birthday.

This morning I found JP standing up in his crib, he finally was able to pull himself up to his feet instead of just his knees. Then at Day Care he pulled himself up to the bench at the table. Pretty soon he will be trying to take some steps. He is finally getting the hang of actully crawling on his hands and knees, not just the amry crawl.
