Halloween 2010
We had a fun Halloween! The kids are so into it! Chucko, Adrienne and Frankie came over and went out with us. We had a fun time in the neighborhood, even had some adult trick or treating at Janet's house (thanks for the beverages :-) ) We ran out of candy 3 times, thanks to Jen for going to her house to get more candy and then to the store and then we even brought some back from Larry's house when we went to visit over there. Our neighbor Jen even gave us some extra too! The kids didn't stop, even after we shut the lights out they still knocked on the door, crazy!! Christine brought the dogs over in their costumes and stayed at the house to give out candy so Jamie could come join us. The dogs were so cute as a blow fish and submarine. Now I will be gorging on candy for a week, I have NO willpower ha-ha.

Apple Picking
Finally got out to go apple picking. Christine came with me and the kids, Jamie had softball in the morning, so we went. It was a really nice fall day. The kids had fun. We got a huge bag of apples, so Maddie and JP think we will be making apple pie, apple cider, apple turnovers, apple cake, and anything else they think can be made with apples ha-ha. There was a playground where JP spent the end of the trip while we finished picking out pumpkins, he picked his and headed right over to the sand box. While we were enjoying some apple cider, apple crisp and pumpkin muffins Madeline asked me to take a video of her, this is what I got....

Summer Vacation - Lake Sebago Maine
We weren't able to get everyone coordinated to go back to the lake house in NH that we went to last year, but we were able to get away for a few long weekends. We went to Point Sebago in Maine, it was great. They have camp for the kids during the day so we were able to have a few hours by ourselves and lots of activities to do. We rented a boat one day with a tube, the girls loved it, JP not so much. It is fun to go on vacation with the Zitomer's since the kids are the same age and play well together (most of the time ha-ha).

4th of July
We went with Christine to her friend Michelle & Neil's house in Plymouth for a cook out and to watch the fireworks. The live right by the harbor so it's a great location to see the fireworks. They had a big bouncy house for all the kids. Then we walked down and sat on the rocks to see the fireworks, you could see them from all the neighboring towns first too. It was nice, but then long night, we had to wait about and hour before we could even start to drive home with all the traffic.

Water Wizz
Jen and I took our kids to Water Wizz Saturday. Nick, Maddie & JP had a blast. We were heading to Falmouth to cousin Jane's house for a cookout that afternoon, so figured what better way to spend a hot Saturday than a water park. The kids could go on a lot of the slides, although I sent JP on the black hole slide, which can only be done single, so he went by himself, I went first then he came down after, I was scared, but he seemed to enjoy it. I think he needs to wait until next year to ride it again, it is a little too big for him, but Maddie went down in like 3 times and loved it! We will stick to the double slide where I can go with him and the lazy river. The kid areas are fun too, but JP didn't love the pirate area, all the water pouring down, he doesn't like it in his face. Can't wait to take them back again.

Maddie's Dance Recital
Maddie was in a Dance Recital with InSync Dance. It was probably the funniest thing I have seen. The recital was made up of classes of girls age 3-6, some of them didn't move at all just stood there looking at the audience. It was so funny and cute. Maddie did pretty well, she stared at her teacher the whole time so she knew what the moves were. She certainly loves her dance class.

Maddie the Dance Teacher
Here are a couple of funny videos of Maddie pretending to be her dance teacher, and of course teaching her star pupil JP.
